I was a little surprised at Campbellsville’s size and athleticism, I can see them making some noise in 1A this year.

As for Monroe, I was pleased with their performance for the most part. The Falcons are very aggressive on defense and I really like the DE play which IMO was a big concern.

On offense they looked okay, I really liked the play calling which seemed to be balanced more so than years past. The OL provided good protection and QB Harlan looked good, he missed a couple of throws but made some very good ones as well.

Monroe had more talent than their record showed last year. They just sort of threw the towel in it looked like. Very tough district again this year. Green returns all of their main cogs and Glasgow should have a very good team. Don't count Harbison's Hornets out either. So Monroe may be better but could still find themselves in the cellar.
