Bell Co. gets the best draw in my estimation. Knox will more than likely have to pitch Scalf to get by Corbin and Bell can save their best two pitchers. Clay Co. can also save Hobbs which gives them a shot at making the finals.

 

A tough draw for Corbin, who will face arguably the best pitcher in the region in the first round and if they are fortunate enough to beat him again, would have to face the best team in the region with their top 2 pitchers ready to go. That's the price you pay though when you play sloppily in the field in the district final and let a team come back and nip you in the end.

...............and some timely hitting as well. They are capable and Coach Garmon will have them ready, but it sure won't be easy.

South Laurel defeats Middlesboro 7-5 in 9 innings. South was down 4-2 going to the bottom of the 7th and tied it. Both teams scored a run in the 8th and South got a two run homer in the bottom of the 9th to win it.
