Note I have just been told that tonights CovCath vs. Louisville Male game has been canceled!

CovCath however will be playing Ludlow at 5pm at CovCath today Friday May 9th.

I can only assume that with the weather report of possible showers this afternoon, Male didn't want to drive up only to have the game called.

I believe the Boone-HC game was also cancelled - at least at Freedom (perhaps they re-scheduled at one of their own fields) - so I suspect this had more to do with the playability of Freedom's field.

Games for tomorrow at Freedom are still on, but believe the Ryle game was moved up to 3:00.

Is there any word on this? Did they move the game elsewhere?

I was called earlier today and Kevin Schwab told me that the games were not being played there at Champion Window Field tonight because of the rain that has passed through the area.

You've also got to think about this...there are four games scheduled for tomorrow with the first one at 10am, then at 1pm, 4pm, and 8pm with the 8pm game being a Freedom exhibition game so I can totally understand why the games were cancelled.

The last high school game - Ryle vs. Male - was moved up to 3:00 p.m. Not sure how they plan to start that game at 3:00 when the game in front starts at 1:00, though. Wouldn't be at all surprised if all these games at Freedom were cancelled. The field will still be very wet and 3 back-to-back-to-back games might take its toll on the field.
