Holy Cross JV wins second matchup of season against Ryle JV by score of 10-6 (after having already won first one 8-7). Having now seen HC twice, I can say that they are very, very solid and would have to be considered one of the top, if not the top, JV team in NKY. They hit the ball like nobody's business and have some nice pitching to go with it. I am very surprised that #3 (Egan) is not pitching at the varsity level. I assume that says something about the depth of the varsity staff. Ryle JV needs to step it up bigtime or there will be no repeat JV crown in Union this year.
