Tyler Gilliland struck out 11 in six innings and hit a solo home run for Christian County. Gilliland has signed with Western Kentucky and looked impressive Monday.

Glad to hear Tyler seems recovered from his back injury late last season. Can't wait to see Tyler and Justin Hageman(Hop-town) hook-up later in the season. Should be a dandy.

Should be a good one. Tyler got ahead in the count, which made it easier to throw his curve. Absolutely crushed a ball to left field for a homer in the first. Trigg really only had two bad innings, but Christian County stranded eight runners and hit into a pair of double plays. The 8th District should be improved top to bottom this year.
