Is there any teams going south to play. I believe Raceland is going to Florida to play and get way from the weather to get some games in.

Is there any teams going south to play. I believe Raceland is going to Florida to play and get way from the weather to get some games in.

 

Boone Co. usually (last 7 years or so ) goes to Destin/ FT.Walton are over spring break .Spring break is early this year ,last week of March ,so they had to change .They are going to Myrtle Beach this year .This is more of a tournament format .The FLA trip they played games but more spring training ,scrimmage type.

Over the past few years, Raceland has been to Cocoa Expo, Disney World of Sports, and last year to the Myrtle Beach tournament. I personally liked the Disney trip best, but I was very surprised how much we liked the Myrtle Beach trip. Ofcourse we had excellent weather, but that time of year in Myrtle Beach, good weather is no guarantee. Cocoa Expo was my least favorite, but I hear a new softball complex will be used. It was actually built in Titusville, a few miles north of Cocoa.
