MAD MAN JACK Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Does anyone have any information on the 9th Annual King Kamehameha Classic played in Hawaii? I think the company who owns it is Elite sports International. My son got a letter from them and we would like to know if anyone has had any experience with this game.

20ROOK Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 My son is playing in it. Good reason to go to Hawaii. Really expensive though.
Hey-Ref Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 My contact, who is a football official in Hawaii, tells me this is a camp/game designed for graduated HS seniors who will want to play non-scholarship football at junior and small colleges (NJCAA, NAIA or NCAA), or are not being recruited by colleges, or may try to walk on somewhere. http://esifootball.com/itinerary_oahu1.asp

I know several players from the Central KY region who played in this last year and had a realy good time. It was really no pressure football, and the trip to islands was really fantastic.

Of course my son would LOVE to be involved with this. He really deserves it for all the blood, sweat and dedication he gave to his high school football career. Unfortunately, it is rather steep for our family finances. If he could somehow come up with the money, he would have to go by himself. Anyone have a son who participated in this game that did go alone? Did anyone fundraise to get $?
