Ludlow was up 5 at the half, but Bellevue came out in the second half with the heat turned up. The Tigers dropped 20 on the Panthers in the 3rd quarter and another 24 in the 4th, while Ludlow managed a total of 25 in the second half.

Austin Kessan led all scorers with 22 for the Tigers with Mike Young adding another 18. Leading scorers for Ludlow were Grant Logan and Kyle Williamson with 12 each.

Congratulations to Justin Caudill who won the inaugural ClassX Free Throw Challenge at halftime, sinking 2 to my goose egg. I will be practing from the line soon.

Ludlow takes on Beechwood on Monday while Bellevue has Deming at home tomorrow.

I thought this was one the Panthers would win but the rivalry between the 2 schools is pretty heated and it sounds as if the Tigers took control of the game in the 2nd half. Congrats to the Tigers and good luck as the season progresses as well as to the Ludlow Panthers.
