The Kittens improve to 7-0 on the season. Kittens came out a little sluggish in the 1st half but really put things together in the second half. An Ashland parent told me that from the 3rd quarter thru the 4th quarter the Kittens put together a 23-1 scoring run. Pretty impressive.

 

I still think that Rowan is the best team in the region right now for a full 4 quarters. However, in the games I have seen, Ashland is the best 4th quarter team in the region. Good ball control, excellent defense, few turnovers, and very good free throw shooting have been the calling card of Ashland in the final period. IMO, if teams want to beat Ashland, they better have a good lead at the end of the 3rd.
