From what I have heard, Covington Catholic is 8-0 in the NKAL (Northern Kentucky Academic League) and anchored by a core group of seniors most notably with returning leading scorer and MVP Tommy Simendinger and defending state champion in Social Studies Alex Knipper. Is it going to be possible for anyone to stop this dynamic duo???

Well the only reason that CovCath is 8-0, is due to the fact that the tie-breaking question in the match against NDA was a basketball question.... :lol:

 

The only time, and I really do mean the only time I have rooted against CovCath in anything, was during the last four years when my daughter was playing for the NDA Academic team. I was so proud of her and her teammates when in her Senior year, they beat CovCath during the regular season at CovCath...

 

Good luck Colonels, well maybe not against NDA....
