waydowntown Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Congrats to the Pats. Lincoln opened the season with a solid win against Russell Co. as Young, Keeton, Gilbert and Owsley were not available for this game due to football season still going. Ethan Spurlin paced Lincoln with 37 points and double figure rebounds. If Lincoln will share the basketball and play hard nosed defense, they should be competing for a repeat 12th region crown.
Ky Sports Junky 5 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Spurlin was on fire for the Pats!!!:fire: Are there any D-1 schools looking at him? IMO he should have been mentioned in the top players in the 12th region, along with the sharp shooting Noah Keeton..:dancingpa:dancingpa
LCPATS Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Spurlin looks like a completely different player. If he continues to play that way, this team could be very good. Maybe another sweet 16 run I agree Keeton is a great shooter too. He, along with Young, Trey, and Gilbert will make this a very deep team. Size and rebounding seem to be the biggest obstacle.

SLINK Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Lincoln Co. gets their defense of 12th Region Crown started off on the right foot.
