Last night, Class 5, District 5 went a perfect 5-0! Highlands easily handled Madison Central, Dixie Heights blew apart Ryle, Covington Catholic traveled up to Columbus, Ohio and wiped out Saint Charles, Scott won easily over Ludlow, and Covington Holmes took care of business and wiped out Lloyd.

 

I really do think that entering the playoffs in a couple of weeks, this will be considered the strongest district in all of Class 5A.

Spritzky has Dixie peaking at the right time...CovCath finally has all their weapons...Scott has a group of kids that don't quit and give tremendous effort...and Highlands is...well, Highlands! The C5-A/D-5 playoffs are going to be some of the best football in the state of ANY class! Everybody stay healthy and may the best team win!
