What's led to such a dismal start for GRC? Was this supposed to be a "down year" for them?

What's led to such a dismal start for GRC? Was this supposed to be a "down year" for them?

 

Not really a down year. We lost alot to graduation but also have alot back. We were rated #23 in the state in preseason.

Not sure if you know the spread of our loses.

With a few fumbles not dropped, hitting the open receiver down field, instead of running with the ball...this team could be at least 5-1. Madison Central being the only loss.

We are probably the best 0-6 team in the state....sad to say.

:thumb: It is a sad thing to say, but probably is true! Each game(outside of the MC game) has had its what ifs. I truly feel bad for these guys because they are a very strong team and do have alot of the pieces they need. The Defense needs to step up alittle bit but our offense can hang with almost anybody.(Would be ten times better if we learned how and when to throw the ball:fight:) They are not laying over and dying though, I am really proud of them giving Henry Clay a good game. If they didn't fumble on the 2 yd line that first posession that could have made that game VERY interesting. GRC gets a boost next week when senior Timmy Davis returns. He's been out all season with a knee injury, look for him to make a big impact. Guys keep playing and believing, you never know what can happen on any given night.

I was told by his dad that,Tim was'nt comming back this year. He will probaby be ready for Basketball:confused:

If I know Timmy he will want to come back, and if he doesn't come back it will be because someone else has convinced him not too.
