Monroe Co. 39 Adair Co. 8

Monroe played pretty good tonight, but still has plenty of room for improvement. Monroe got off to a slow start and only led 12-0 at halftime, however they really got it going in the second half and quickly took control of the game, Adair Co. finally scored on the JV with about 2 min. left in the game…

A very unfortunate incident occurred late in the 4th qtr when a player from Adair punched and basically attacked a player from Monroe Co. the situation almost got out of hand but the coaches did a great job of quickly getting the players under control, when the smoke finally cleared Adair Co. had 3 players ejected and Monroe had 1 which should be appealed and overturned because the Monroe player ejected didn’t appear to do anything to warrant an ejection.

Almost forgot to mention that the Adair Co. band was awesome and actually fun to watch, especially the drum corps…
