firstregionking Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Air raid '07 is not a drill as division I quarterback prospect Corey Robinson led the air assault accumulating 405 yards and 7 touchdowns, leading the Purple Flash to an easy win over the visiting Braves.
PtownDude Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 This game was about as close as I expected it to be. Union's still young and, overall, not very quick. Lone Oak was not a good way for the Braves to open. Robinson is going to put up huge numbers this season for the Flash. How many passing yards will Lone Oak and Caldwell combine for next week?
just 4 fun Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 The Caldwell/Lone Oak game should be a good one..I believe this LO team may be there best ever, especially offensively and you know Haskins will always bring a hard nosed mentality to his teams...Could be a big, big year for the Purple Flash...
go purple flash Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Lone Oak should have an advantage over Caldwell with a strong senior class & a lot of experienced players returning. Caldwell jumped on Lone Oak early & often in last years game by a score of 28-0 before Lone Oak made it a respectable score of 31-21. Caldwell Co lost a great deal of talent to graduation. Home field advantage scares me a little but I feel Lone Oak has too many weapons & a much improved defense. I'll say Lone Oak prevails by at least 2 to 3 Td's.
