Hardly a barnburner as the Mustangs go up 11-0 after one, before calling off the dogs the rest of the game, finishing up with a couple of JV pitchers. Congrats to Calvary for winning a district game yesterday, and to the 'Stangs for moving on to the championship game. Not sure if Uebel even gets the win as he only pitched two innings? As flawlessly as the Cougars apparently played yesterday, they were less than that today contributing several early errors to Brossart's cause in the deciding first inning. Several classy moves on Coach Rowe's part by subbing early and often, and purposely not trying to run up the score with some very conservative base running!! Good luck to the Mustangs tomorrow!!

As far as the win, I think if a game goes only five innings then he would have needed to pitch three complete....I think the rule is one more than half of the innings played or something like that.

The Brossart fans might not want me to show up....I've been to two Brossart games since moving up here to NKU and they lost both games.....the first was two years ago when Campbell won the district opener and the second was this year when they were defeated by Lafayette.....lol.
