The first of two games on Saturday for CovCath at Ballard. The CovCath game on Friday night didn't get over until 1:30am and the boys didn't get to bed until around 3am, this game against Danville started at noon so the team had to get up at around 9am (little less than 6 hours sleep). This Game went back and forth and back and forth with Danville getting ahead and then CovCath tying it up. Sophomore Isler hit his second home run of the day (the first was around 12:30am), with a man on to tie it up, and then sophomore Maile tied it up with a three run HR in the bottom of the seventh or eight to tie it up. Both teams put the metal to the ball but CovCath just seemed to get tired as this game didn't end until about 3:15/3:30pm..... Fun game to watch at lot of hitting and run scoring far more than I could keep track of with a note pad or scorebook.....

Playing until 1 in the morning then getting back up the next morning to play a noon game is pretty rough. On a positive note though, it sounds like CCH bats were alive in this game.
