Lexington Catholic 11

Lexington Christian 2

 

Catholic jumped out to a 8-1 lead after 2 innings and never looked back, 2 HRs by Riddell, including one on the roof in CF (Those of you who have been to Lafayette will be impressed at that shot)

 

Dunbar 6

Lafayette 0

 

Dunbar took advantage of their scoring chances by scoring 2 runs with two outs in the 2nd and 3 with 2 outs in the 5th while Royce held the Generals to 2 hits through 6 and Bracken closed out the game in the 7th.

Catholic and Dunbar appear to be the best teams in not only the 11th region, but state as well.

 

Christian appears to be highly overrated.
