When ESPN megaphone Dick Vitale shouts about a "diaper dandy" and "delivering at tournament time, baby!" it's just hot air. But Notre Dame Academy basketball coach Cheryl Darpel gives real meaning to those terms. "Yes, I guess I do," she said with a laugh.

This is amazing. Sounds like my sister that my mom had to sit and hold sleeping while my dad coached in the State Championship game. I couldn't imagine having to sit down throughout a game of that magnitude!!!

I have known Cheryl for several years now. She has wroked hard and endured alot of negative scrunity from people who know absolutely nothing about what being a coach is all about. They may know something about basketball - but not about coaching. I wish her and her team the best. They have played consistenly from the beginning and have the size, shooters, depth, athletes, and coaching to win the region and do well in the Sweet 16. Go Pandas! Go Cheryl!
