The Lexington Christian Academy Eagles (6-2, 3-0 District) return home Friday night to host the Washington County Commanders (3-5, 1-2 District). Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. as LCA looks to continue its momentum after one of the biggest wins in Class 2A last week.

LCA enters the game riding a five-game winning streak and coming off a dominant 54-14 victory over previously unbeaten Danville. The Eagles have now won five straight games over Franklin County, Lexington Catholic, W.E.B. DuBois Academy, Shawnee, and Danville. The win over Danville moved LCA to 3-0 in District 4 and into sole possession of first place in the district standings and #1 in the Class 2A RPI.

Washington County comes into the matchup with momentum of its own. The Commanders are coming off a 44-0 victory over Shawnee and have won two of their last three games, including a 42-9 win over Thomas Nelson. While their overall record sits at 3-5, Washington County has shown significant improvement during the second half of the season.
