Spartans had a really slow pace to start the 4th up a couple of buckets. Shot clock will cut that bogus ball out soon enough but it was a fun defensive game. The length of South’s wings were too much for the Trojans offense throughout the evening.

Allen County has a scrappy team but I’m not sure they’ll be able to protect the paint Thursday. Barren County should get things back on track in that matchup. Spartans host the Aces Friday evening and a win tonight was definitely a boost of confidence after a tough loss to Monroe County, not sure they’ll have enough to stop Carothers and company but they’ll give them a tough game.
