Scott Co 99 Manual 67

Featured Replies

KY Preps Plus event at Trinity.

A matchup of #2 Scott Co and #6 Louisville Manual.

Lady Cardinals Kayla Moses tallied 37 points (2nd best in tournament history) and Rebecca Gray recorded a triple-double (29 pts, 11 ast, 10 reb) in the win.

Attended the game, and Scott County totally dominated the game. I left with a little under 5 minutes (4:35) to play and Scott up by a score of 79 to 57. Scott County was still pressing and still had it's starters in? Why? Did the second team come in and score another 20 points to Manuals 10 in around 4 minutes or did Scott just run up the score on them to run up the score? Scott was clearly the better team and little #23 was the player of the game at least to me....no one on Manual could stop her.

It was a 7 point game at the half, 15 point game after 3 quarters. Not total domination like the final score indicates.

Manual continued to press until the end of the game. SC would see it, throw over it, layup......then set up in a 2/3 zone much like they played all night. Manual had a tough shooting night, 33% from the floor, 13% from behind the arc. Both teams mass-subbed with 1:42 to go in the game.
