Franklin-Simpson 40 Christian County 28

Wasn’t able to watch this one live but finished the replay late last night. The Colonels’ combo of QB Jordan Riley running and throwing to JaSean Miles and Prince Northington II gave FS fits early as CC led 14-7 after the first quarter. After that FS scored 33 straight. The Colonels got a couple of late TDs to make it interesting at the end. CC had several speedy athletes but their line play was lacking. FS scored on each possession except for the last two late in the game. FS had one completion, a long TD from Mathias Dickerson to Damont Leggs. They ran it the rest of the way as per usual. Several backs in the rotation for FS, the workhorse is fullback Gavin Dickerson. Layne Alford is a beast at linebacker and wingback for FS. Christian County went for it on every fourth down and converted several. They lack consistency but have dangerous players that can score at any time.
