Christmas break is upon us in the bluegrass and teams are gearing up for holiday tournaments and classics, a few teams in the 15th have played a tough slate in the first two weeks and it shows with some of the records.

1.  Pikeville (1-2)
   A 1-2 record is a rough way to start but considering the two losses are to top 3 teams in their respective regions is why they still are in the top spot, if this trend continues we will see a change in the top of the rankings.
2.  Pike Central (3-0)
   Pike Central is off to a hot 3-0 start with a win over Martin County and Lawrence County, The Hawks have a big home game this week against paintsville and a trip to Morehead to play in the Stock Yards & trust Challenge.
3. Martin County (3-2)
   Martin County came away with a impressive win this past weekend over Hazard in the WYMT Classic and they keep the trend of tough games going this week against Perry County and Montgomery County.
4.  Floyd Central (4-0)
   Floyd Central is off to a 4-0 start this season and picked up district win number 1 on the season. The Continue district play this week when they travel to Betsy layne in a matchup that has big district implications.
5. Betsy Layne (4-1) 
   The bobcats have a big week coming up in region with a matchup vs Johnson Central and a district matchup with Floyd Central before heading to Tennessee for a tournament.
