Greenup County has not been a playoff juggernaut.  

Since 1998                                                                                                                                                 Prior to this home playoff game, the last home playoff games for Greenup County were 1998, 2007 and 2008. Greenup County has a playoff record of 4-18 with the last playoff wins coming in 2000, 2007 and 2016.  The only time Greenup County won more than one playoff game was 2007 when they won one home playoff game, one on the road and lost in the third round.  The last playoff win for Greenup County came in 2016.  This was Greenup County's seventh win of the season, something they have only done thee times:  1998, 2007 and 2011. The only season Greenup County has won two playoff games is 2007.  The only time Greenup County has won more then 7 games was 1998, when they had a record of 8-3.  

In that span, the best teams Greenup County has fielded were 1998 and 2007.  

Next week                                                                                                                                              Greenup County could tie some of the records from the 1998-2022 era.  They could be the second team in that span to win two playoff games.  They could be the second team in that era to win eight games in a season.  And, they could be the second team to advance to the third round of playoffs.
