1st of 3 straight District games for Knox Central. Any Predictions??????

Pineville wins a close one. This one comes down to coaching and the edge favors the Lions.

May have a point there Bubba... Knox Central likes to shoot the 3 but they definitely have the size to go inside and draw some fouls ????

IF Central continues to do the Cody Miller show then they are not going to win a lot of games. Central has some talented players and they need to learn the team concept.

The game will be played at Knox Central.. Miller is an excellent young player,

But I stress "Young" He should not have to try to carry this team. They have other talented players that need to be utilized in the offense..

I like Scalf, Williamson and Brown for the Panthers. They seem to get lost in the shuffle sometimes.

Heard that the Williamson kid dislocated his shouler in the Hazard tournament and could be out a few weeks?? If so that would probably move the Bingham kid into the middle.." where he should have been from the beginning with the Williamson kid playing the power forward slot." The Bingham kid is a much improved rebounder from last year and and excellent defender.. something they desparately need...

Bingham will fill in nice there for Coach Elam. I hope Williamson heals fast. What did he do at Hazard?

Apparently he stole the ball and was driving in for a layup got fouled and come down on his shoulder dislocating it... This was in KC's first game against Barren Co.

I'm going to take Pineville in a close one. The Lions have to start hitting stride tomorrow against Knox with district games this week, WYMT next week, Bell the week after that, and that week followed by All A. 4-5 is not what I thought would happen but this young team has to put that behind them and move on. And they have to realize that dwelling on having a losing record will not make you 9-0. This team has alot of potential and a great coach and he will get the point across to them and they'll be fine come February and March.

Day in this game who was probably held to 12 to 15 points. Miller 28 pts. Overall very good performance by Knox Central..
