SouthernSportsFan
Danville trailed by 16 at one point in the first quarter, but rallied back for the win. Danville botched about 12 points worth of layups in the first half and missed several free-throws at the end of the game. Bright Spots: Jamie Lebanion? played very well. When I saw him in middle school he wasn't quite as big. He is a strong player. Danville's guards #5 and #10 are really something. #5 has a body on him and can pull up and hit the jumper consistently. #10 is about 4'9, or looked it anyway, and looks like he is probably in 6th grade; little arms, little legs, and baby face. But he can run an offense. He didn't take many, if any, shots during the game, but he made some amazing passes.

Bubba Wilson
I figured the Colonels would win this one. Looks like another match with Williamsburg is on the horizen for the Whitley boys and Coach Deaton.
SouthernSportsFan
I was expecting them to win this one too. They led big after the first quarter, but Danville caused 8 Whitley County turnovers in the 4th and took the lead for the win.
Bubba Wilson
Whitley really seems to come apart when a full court press is applied against them. I am beginning to think it is a mental hurdle for the Colonels. Hopefully by the end of the season they will solve the puzzle and handle the ball better. SouthernSportsFan
I understand. They played extremely well the first quarter, taking a 24-11 lead. Then Danville outscored Whitley 19-5 in the second. Then Whitley outscored Danville 17-7 in the third. Then, haha, Danville outscored Whitley 28-12 in the fourth. This was a game of runs, and #5 Warner of Danville had 31 points.
