3 Cincinnati Dragons Invited to Team USA U23 National Team Tryouts

The Dragons are excited to announce that 3 of our players/alumni have been invited to try out for the Team USA U23 National Team.  Players invited are pictured below - Dragons varsity player Gabe Taylor (Augusta KY) and Dragons alumni Kerwin Haake (Lexington KY and currently playing for the University of Arizona) and Alex Hilgeford (Beavercreek OH).  Tryouts will take place on October 20-24 at the US Olympic/Paralympic Training Center at the Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham.  If selected to the team, players would compete at the U23 Wheelchair Basketball World Championships in Japan next summer.  In addition, our varsity coach Jake Counts (Covington KY) was selected as an assistant coach for the team.
