I don't want to take anything away from a tough and physical Rockcastle County team, but NDA didn't play "the one game at a time" that has been preached to them this season. After watching Boone County beat Shelby County the Pandas are getting the match up that they seem to want, but somehow forgot that Rockcastle wasn't going to roll over and play dead. NDA came out so cold to start the game, you would have thought NDA was going to put on some ice skates. I have it (note unofficially) NDA shot 0-15 from the three point line, and a lousy (this is official) 7-20 from the free throw line. Taking nothing away from the Lady Rockets as they played tough, but other than #12 Sarsh Rowe it was more of a bad night by NDA, then being stopped by the Rockets. Tomorrow night game, between NDA and Boone County, should be a good one, and if there isn't a rather large crowd watching this Ninth Region battle of the giants, it will be a shame.

One game at a time, one win at a time, and getting better, every time.

Things in high school sports are very odd sometimes. The way Boone played tonight is the way NDA has been playing all yr. The match ups tomorrow will be interesting.

Don't expect Boone to show their whole hand tomorrow although I would have to bet that they come out and press right away. I don't think NDA handles the ball all that well w/out a true point guard on the floor(IMO).
