Transy Men's LAX: Logan Otto succeeds Terry Justice as HC

Featured Replies

Following the retirement of Terry Justice, assistant Logan Otto was named interim head couch.

Now the "interim" has bee dropped and Otto will be taking the reigns going forward

Otto, 33,  has been an assistant for seven years at Transylvania.  He played high school lacrosse at Lexington Catholic under Justice.  He has family in northern Kentucky and recently became a father.   Along with coaching at Transylvania, Otto has run travel teams during the summer months providing exposure to college programs for kids from Central Kentucky.

Terry Justice retirement announcement is at link below.  Justice has been instrumental in the foundation and expansion of lacrosse in Central Kentucky.  He coached at Lexington Catholic prior to becoming the first head coach of the Transylvania program.  Justice ran camps and travel teams in Lexington during the summer that raised the profile of the sport.   His actions and support of other coaches has been a key factor to the fact that all the high schools in Fayette County and many surrounding counties have boys lacrosse programs.
