B-Ball-fan
I don’t know why I put myself through it after watching the dismal offensive output last night between NewCath and Lloyd, but tonight was perhaps even more of a bore as NewCath was without the services of their sharp shooter Joel Isles due to back pain, and Cooper rarely could ever buy a bucket. NewCath started out looking fairly good with guard Joey Runyan, who normally averages about 6 points a game, stepping up to carry much of the scoring load out of the gate. At the end of 1 it was NewCath up 19-10 The 2nd period found both teams having trouble finding the basket tying this stanza 9-9 with The Breds taking a 28-19 lead into halftime. The Jags came to life in the 3rd with a 9-0 run to get the game closer with NewCath leading at the end of the 3rd 35-32. The Jags managed to tie the game at 35, and then just died in the water right there never again posing a threat as they let the Breds stretch their small lead just enough to get out of there with the win. Final NewCath 48 Cooper
