After trailing by 2 at the half, Clay County outscored Rockcastle 50 - 32 in the 2nd half. This game featured 2 of the better 8th graders in the state in Whitney Belle Jackson of Clay (16 pts. 10 reb.) and Sarah Hammond of Rockcastle Co. (10 pts.). The scoring went as follows:
