Trigg doesn't have great size and Hoptown made it a point to get the ball inside to Chad and Richard Brown. Richard Brown got most of his points on offensive put backs. Chad Brown did a good job of getting up and down the court and giving the guards and good target inside. For Hoptown to be successful this year they need to get consistent double digit scoring & effort from Chad Brown inside. Their guards are solid and athletic if Chad Brown could be consistent it would make things a little easier on the guards.

When Davis started heating up from outside you knew Trigg would make a run. But a good response by Hopkinsville after their lead was cut to 5 they quickly pushed it back to 10 and left with a good road victory.

I am impressed with how the team/players have responded to new Coach Jim Simmons. He has them working hard and playing as a team. Good ball movement and talking on defense. Their practices are ran crisp and thorough. They've beaten the teams they should have beaten so far this season but it's how hard their playing and the way their playing that is impressive. Plus Simmons isn't afraid to go deep onto his bench.

Antwain Loving added 13 points for Hoptown.
