Parity in the Playoffs?

I think most of us thought going into the playoffs that class 3A was probably the closest group from top to bottom. So just for fun, I decided to run a few numbers and see how it all played out.

Using Calpreps projections for the games, I took the #10 ranked team in each class of the BGP rankings and wanted to see how much of a discrepancy there really was. The only outlier being, I used my Blue Tornado from Tilghman from class 3A, who dropped out of the rankings this week just to further see if 3A was really as deep as we think.

Here is what it looked like.

Of course the games have to be played, but just something neat to look at as we prepare to begin the playoffs this year. If you'll also notice, the points graduate down pretty closely in alignment with the current rankings.
