On paper this looks to be a one-sided affair. Thomas Nelson comes in at 0-4, allowing over 40 points a game. Elizabethtown comes in at 2-2 with losses to 6A Ranked teams North Hardin and Central Hardin. Both teams will try to step it up a notch as we start getting into district play soon. Who wins?

I appreciate the effort of at least trying to provide E-town with some motivation for this game, particularly since TNHS hasn't had a practice this week. This will be a running clock, perhaps before the end of the 1st quarter. Games will be out by the end of the 1st to protect the shoulder. TNHS needs to max protect Girdley to insure he remains healthy through the end of the year. Becherer's line will be something like 5 carries, 125 yards, 5 TD's. They may give one to McNeil.
