With a lifetime record of 1,132 victories and 355 defeats, Harrison Co.'s Mac Whitaker needs 13 wins in the 2020 baseball season to pass the late Bill Miller of Pleasure Ridge Park to become the all-time career leader in Ky high baseball. His 42 year career at Harrison Co. has produced a 76.1% winning record with 4 state championships. As I recall there was a related thread that statistically calculated that the HC program was the 4th most successful baseball program in Ky over the last 50 years and the 3rd best over the last 25 (memory?). Mac has long since retired as a teacher, but has personally shared with me that he still enjoys coaching. I have heard no hint that retiring from baseball is anywhere in the near future.
