Pitchers duel between Beechwood Freshman Brett Holladay and CovCath Senior Evan Stallman. Both pitchers pitched their tails off and Beechwood came out on top after a RBI groundout by Dylan Doverspike in the 4th. Expect to see these teams play again in a couple weeks for a district championship.

By the way, it’s been a while since I’ve been to a game at CovCath but I have to ask, when did the field get in such bad shape? It used to be one of the top fields in the area.
