the not-shocking stat: Cozart had a few blocks (6) and a few dunks. 18 points, 15 rebounds, very efficient.

Quae Charlton dominated the 2nd half for MC, 24 points for the game and ALL of them after the break. He hit a few three's, probably shot 8 or 10 FT's, a few offensive rebound put-backs. He's only 5'10"-ish but very strong. 9 rebounds to go with his 24 points.

Deion Cox had some big buckets for MC also, 12 points and a few key steals at key moments, and he hit some big FT's down the stretch and had 7 rebounds, 4 assists. Cox played the entire game, never came out, and was the primary ball handler - without a single turnover. As dominating as Cozart was, Charlton and Cox were the keys to this win.

West had a big lead early, MC could not guard them man-to-man and started stacking up fouls, West led 37-32 at the half. MC went zone late in the 2nd quarter and that slowed West down a bit. MC hit a bunch of three's in the 3rd Quarter after an ice-cold first half, and by middle of the 4th Quarter MC led by 8 points.

West made a furious rally in the 4th, led by the perimeter shooting of Dalton Bruner, Yallen Woods and Michael Thalacker. Woods and Bruner hit a couple of three's to help cut the deficit to 65-61, then Thalacker converted a 4-point play to tie it at 65. Thalacker hit a couple more three's (10 points in the quarter), Bruner hit a couple of big buckets late, but MC hit just enough FT's down the stretch to secure the win.

Again - a very entertaining game, both teams played well. I'd watch a replay.
