What a great game to watch. Huge crowd and atmosphere . We held Allen to 9 points the first half. He got 23 points in the 4th Q. where he took over the game scoring at will. Great young man to watch play.

 

The first half was raining 3's for both teams. Can't tell you what players for PC because all of the others except Allen was scoring. Half time score was 39-36 GRC. End of 3rd was 58-44 GRC.

 

GRC pulls away in the 3rd Q to a 19 point lead. Graham was scoring at will, He finished with 22 points. Wellman also was raining 3's and scoring at will. He finished with 19 points. Jenkins was a beast down low tonight , what a great game he had. Think he had around 8 points. Lincoln Bush also had a good game. We are team first and it shows. They don't care who scores just as long as we win. Got to work on our free thows it let them back in game.

 

Big Ben Jackson did not play tonight. He was at Miami of Ohio where he has signed to play football. We missed his presence inside and his leadership.

 

Great to talk to Coach Belcher tonight. Great friend.

They have Graham and Wellman backwards. Graham had 22 and Wellman had 19.

The Freshman , Morton came off the bench and had a good game

He is going to really help us come post season. Jenkins knows his role great game on both ends of the floor.

Some additional stats:

 

GRC had 24 assists on 29 field goals. I know we rank very high in state on assists per game. We really are unselfish and pass the ball well.

 

Wellman hit 6-8 from the 3 point range. Morton off the bench and only a Freshman was 3 of 5 from 3"s.

 

We were 6-13 from the foul line...got to work on that.

 

Allen was 10-19 from the field, 4-10 from 3's, 10-16 from foul line and 10 rebounds. Thomas was the only other scorer to shoot from the foul line and he was 5-6.

 

They were 15-22 from the foul line.
