The Banshees got out to a 3-0 lead early, then had to weather a comeback and some key injuries to hold off the Chargers and advance.

Bethlehem will face Henderson Co. in Saturday’s quarterfinals just like they did 4 years ago when they made it to the SFs before falling.

 

Key seniors Maddie Sparks, Abigail Proctor and Jordan Cross each bounced back from injuries that cost them minutes to play huge roles. Sparks had a goal and 2 assists and Proctor scored. Cross’ return on defense helped the Banshees hold the Chargers scoreless over the final 20 minutes.

 

Senior Carly Beam got the first goal in the first minute, then the eventual GW with 21 minutes left.
