Class 4A

It seems every week Class 4A is full of drama. Teams losing that were favored, teams that are underdogs who pull an unexpected result, and sometimes just pure chaos no one can explain. Last week was not one of those weeks. No team in the Top 10 finished the night with an extra tally in the loss column. Don't be surprised to see a similar outcome this week as district play offers some solidity. No team in the Top 10 has a ranked opponent on the other side. The most intriguing games appear to be in the wild, wild west. Franklin-Simpson takes on Allen County- Scottsville in the battle of the hyphenated schools. Another hyphenated school, Madisonville-North Hopkins, is on the cusp of the rankings and can make their return if they can knock off Hopkinsville.
