Another sloppy, brawling, penalty-filled slugfest for the Tigers. While they really controlled most of the game (TNHS scored late to get it within 10), if Bardstown didn't have 175 yards in penalties I'll eat my shorts. Once again, we turned to the power run gain to chew clock and move the sticks. Both fullbacks, Frank Burton and Trey Riney, with big games tonight. Tereylin Calbert with another pretty TD catch and a 4th and 19 catch late in the last quarter to set up the Tigers final score. Defense was again outstanding, shut down the TNHS inside run and pass games, though gave up some yards on the edges.

Tigers move to 4-1, exceed their win total from last season, get the District win, and complete sweep of local area teams for the season. I guess we are just going to be a blue collar, brawling team this year.
