Birds win 7 to 0 on the Serengeti that was Claryville. Holy schnikes it was hot to start.

 

Birds go up half way through the first half as Max Farris latched on to a Carter Holmes looping through ball and slotted it far corner. 5 minutes later Jackson Lehrter was fouled with a step towards goal. The ensuing 20 yard free kick hit the wall but fell to Cary Gorrigan who finished to make it 2 to 0. It went into tha half at that score.

 

4 minutes into the second half, Porter Hedenberg heaved a long throw to Caymon Stevie in the box for a headed goal. Alex Ford added to the lead a few minutes later on a rebound to make it 4 to 0. A backheel assist from Lehrter to Demetri Saratkasanis made it 5 to 0. 3 minutes later Max Farris recorded his brace. A flying Saratkasanis header on a sweet cross from Keegan Brewer finished it out.

 

Birds play the Grassless St Henry Crusaders on Thursday on the turf at Tower Park.
