Belfry at Richlands (VA) Scrimmage

Belfry traveled to Richlands, Virginia to scrimmage the host school and Abingdon,VA

Report I received is Belfry looked pretty good on Offense

Belfry scored three times against Richlands and three times against Abingdon.

Belfry’s pass defense left a lot to be desired as expected and Richlands scored in three passes. Abingdon had one score against reserves passing.

Belfry was without Grayson Cook and Austin Lawson and the QB Browning got dinged up a little.

Run Defense looked really good and Belfry actually didn’t run their FB or HB Dixon very much at all, they actually passed a good bit and sustained a lot of success doing it, That’s a good sign that Haywood is confident in his bread and butter.

They played another series of 10 plays against Richlands and the varsity squads each scored one TD a piece.
