The Nelson County opening has been filled. Dirk Strunk, who most recently was a head coach in Alabama and has 16 years as an HC, will be the new NCHS coach. He was at the school today meeting with administrators, teachers and students.

Change of scenery for coach. Seems like an odd fit but you never know. Got to hear him speak once at a clinic in Birmingham years ago about overcoming obstacles. He lost his daughter during a tornado that hit the school she was at about 10 years or so ago.
