CyrusJS Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 WKU has a legitimate at-large bid chance if they keep trending the way they are. 40th in RPI, 50th KenPom as of today, with two huge C-USA showdowns this weekend at home vs UAB tomorrow (13-5, 4-1)(KenPom #81), and longtime rival Middle Tennessee (13-4, 5-0) (RPI #32, KenPom #53) Saturday. The MTSU game officially sold out this afternoon, with remaining tickets going for about $200-$250 this morning. UAB game is close to a sell-out, and with the walk-up crowd I think it will be. Western has been on a tear since getting two 4* players eligible in the last couple weeks. A huge home stand will set them up for grabbing an at-large. ESPN & CBS both have WKU sitting as an 11 seed at the moment. WKU vs. UAB tomorrow 8PM CT on CBSSN. WKU vs MTSU Saturday 6PM CT on Stadium (Facebook/Twitter).
