Does Religion Make the World a Better Place???

Is the world a better place because of religion? In answering , be careful to separate organized religion from individual spirituality.

 

Has the world been bettered by organized religious belief? Would we be better off or worse off without ALL of man's religions, including the two largest, Christianity & Islam?
