Wildcats won 79-62 over Franklin Classical in their first round game in the Green Bracket of the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic in Gatlinburg to go 8-1 on the year.

 

Cats shot 52 percent from the floor, but have some work to do from the stripe just hitting on 5-19. Justin Rassman led the Wildcats with 18 points with 2 behind the arc. Jaymee Hale was 1 rebound from a double-double with 16 points and 9 boards. Overall 11 Wildcats got in the scorebook in their first round game.

 

They take on Harvest Prep today at 1pm. Harvest Prep won their first round game against Barbourville 100-59
