St. Xavier defeated the Male Bulldogs 14-7 on a pick six returned 65 yards in the third quarter.

This bunch of Tigers did not include juniors Andre Coleman or Keegan Sullivan which made a huge difference in the Tigers (lack of) offensive production. The lone St. Xavier TD came on a nice 45 yard pass completion in the second quarter.

Male turned the ball over on downs at least three times inside the Tigers 10 yard line.

Apparently, the Bulldogs do not have a JV kicker of note. The Male kickoffs were not pretty.

 

Male avoided the possible controversy of having players/fans take a knee during the National Anthem by not playing National Anthem AT ALL!!!!!

 

The best play from my viewpoint was my purchase of a Bulldog Burger prior to the opening kickoff. :clap:

Male score with 7:59 remaining in the game on a 8 yard touchdown pass. Q Wright experienced a lot of success rushing the ball up the middle on the Tigers tonight. Male used two QBs as did St. Xavier. I do not believe any of the four will start varisty next season.

Saint Xavier has a great group of players on this JV team. They might have a chance to beat Trinity in the next two years.
