August 4, 20179 yr When 81 year old Mary Ho from Singapore was a little girl she found herself with a passion for the guitar and wanted to learn play, but was discouraged by her mother saying that playing guitar was for boys. She put these dreams behind her and went on to marry and raise children, and eventually enjoying being a grandmother of 7, but when she turned 60 she felt that she really needed to do something for herself, so she decided that once and for all she would learn how to play guitar. She practiced 'til her fingers bled, and though family members suggested that she just hang it up, she played through the pain until she built up calluses, and she is still playing today at 81 as it is her life's passion. Carlos Santana is one of her favorites. Here she is at age 73 playing the classic blues number "I Need Your Love So Bad"
